She is very kind and soft spoken, and is always willing to lend an ear for your troubles. She's not witty enough to put forth answers, but she'll always be there to listen. She's somewhat of a doormat; she struggles to say no when someone requests her help. She also freezes when put in difficult situations, and is overwhelmed easily. She tends to regret many of her actions (or inactions), telling herself she'll do better and stand up for herself next time, but she usually ends up being indecisive and dragged along even if she doesn't want to be. She is absolutely terrible when people are fighting in her presence, and takes the first chance she can to escape.

Life
She loves cooking, and even does plenty at home. It's one of the only things she feels like she has a vested interest in. Otherwise she's very chill and kind of lazy, doing only the barest amount of chores or shopping, so other than some herbs growing on her kitchen windowsill, her place is mostly empty and stale.
She spends a lot of time loafing in the local library flipping through magazines, and has an interest in food, teas, flowers, and book reviews (though she doesn't read the books listed). She's quite good with animals and will befriend any pets. She loves napping in the bathtub while soaking in warm water. Her fur is kind of rough to the touch because of it, though the hair on her head and tail is soft. She has a small aesthetic social media account with an eclectic mix of animals, teas, flowers, and shots of bookshelves with soft filters and a random quote from a book that appears in the picture.
Julia works as a cook/baker in the back of the Bed and Breakfast's cafe, sometimes alongside the owner himself. She frequently shuffles up the menu, generally producing a mostly new rotation of specials every season, keeping some staples and popular recipes for regulars.
She interacts the least of her co-workers out of the group. She tends to be a wallflower in most social situations, and tries to keep herself as boring as possible, especially in larger social situations. Her intelligence shines in one-on-one talk, and while she avoids giving personable advice, she's quite knowledgeable on many subjects and if one has a question, she's likely to have just enough knowledge of a subject to point people in the right direction.
She tends to be a quiet ear for her coworkers' troubles. She spends most of her time with Chance in the kitchen, however, and they work brilliantly as a team, greater than the sum of their parts. He regales her with stories of all the people he's met, food he's tried, and places he's been reading about. These tend to inspire her recipes for a while, where he picks out his favorites for the next season. She's always stuck as a trapped listener to Jorunn's friendly rants. She loves talking tea with Jasmine. She sees little of James, but finds him easy to talk to.
She makes sure she likes every tea, coffee, and food that gets prepared in the kitchen. She has a wide range of likes and is rather adventurous when it comes to flavors and techniques. Her favorite is any recipe from her family's heritage, as it's all comfort food for her. She likes simple teas with fruit sweetener mixed in.
Trivia

- She grows a selection of herbs and spices on her kitchen windowsill, but the rest of her apartment lacks in the feeling of being lived in.
- There is a huge collection of bath bombs, soaps, conditioners, and scents for bathing in her bathroom and linen closet, and she lounges in the tub when she doesn't have anything to read or new recipes to try out.

Relationships
Works happily with Chance. He's always chattering about things he's read, which she likes looking into. He's the first to taste recipes she's testing, and she's always happy with his feedback.
They had a short fling and get along well, and while she was happy with Milly, she was unable to pinpoint what she wanted or needed and the relationship struggled because of it. They don't see each other very often, and don't get the chance to generate positive or negative sparks again.
They're frequently talking drinks and Julia loves making new mixes with tea leaves Jasmine orders. Their equivalent quietness tends to them just peacefully coexisting in comfortable silence when they don't have anything new to share.
They get along reasonably well and are able to keep comfortable conversation, but they're not very close. Julia finds Jorunn's constant talks of relationships a little concerning, and wishes Jorunn had more goals than to glue people to each other. She's gone on a few dates that Jorunn's recommended, but they normally end in light friendship.
She likes him alright but they talk so little and he's such an anxious mess sometimes that she almost wants to avoid him as much as he avoids the rest of the team. They have little to talk about, but when they do, it's polite and almost sterile.
